As the owner of Kairos Senior Referral & Resources I wanted to take a moment to tell you a bit about myself. I have a degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton and spent several years in Southern California and Alexandria, VA finally finding my way back to the Portland, OR area about fifteen years ago.

I’ve been working in the senior industry helping families find the best care for their seniors since 2007. I have strong opinions about how people of all ages should be treated and a special place in my heart for seniors and children. I believe that we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect especially when we can no longer advocate for ourselves.

I find my work to be a privilege in serving the senior community. I’ve learned a great deal about compassion and empathy that has surprised me. I have also learned that sometimes we have to advocate strongly for a person to get them what they need even if that doesn't always make us popular. I’ve found this to be a strength that I have that allows me to serve the community in a way that I’m proud of.

In my free time you can usually find me on the water kayaking, or hanging out with my amazing friends, family and partner, or working on my floating home.
